I have been teaching since 1996 when I graduated from Minnesota State University at Moorhead with a bachelors degree in elementary education. I also have my masters in education administration, but I am thrilled to be your child's teacher. I have also taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades. I have two children of my own and value family time. I spend my free time reading, cooking and watching my son play baseball. We are also a family who likes to travel when we have a chance.



I believe in building the whole child, not only the academics. I feel strongly that if I can foster a love of learning in your child while teaching them to read they will have a successful start to their education. I also believe in building upon their natural self confidence while teaching them to be good citizens.
